And so it came to pass that Hisao and Hanako stole Rin's time machine, worked their way to old timey Europe, and worked together to make dolls under the pseudonym "Rozen"...
Here's an odd theory, maybe Hanako was entrusted with a life like doll to care for as part of her therapy? I read once of an high school doing the same to teach students about parenting. Perhaps this is all apart of a confidence building exercise.
@39030 You are an example of how certain reactions to the "revelation" of the old idea of Hanako getting pregnant at the end baffle me. It seems like many fans think "Awww it's so cute, they will be a family right after graduation, so happy!" I may be too pessimistic but I do not see happiness in such an early pregnancy, even less for Hanako who is just starting to come out of her many problems, to say nothing of the reaction from the other students and the school staff. It may even undo her development (I even pictured her too terrified to tell Hisao for fear of giving him a heart attack... now *this* is sad! ç__ç).
Anyway, this is unfortunately the worst of these "Katawa Haha" sketches, it appears too rushed and, even if it wasn't, I agree with the other comments about the kid being almost creepy with that hair, dress and shoes.
@39061: I sort-of agree with you. I don't think getting pregnant young is always a bad thing but Hanako is most certainly not up to the task at the end of her route.
@39151: John and Sarah Conner delayed Second Impact for a decade, but now mankind's hope for protection from the Angels rests on Hanako, Kenji, and Rin.
