My Lovely Ghost Kana is the best romantic comic (yes, that includes American and European ones as well) I've ever read. It's really too bad so few people seem to know about it, and I have a feeling that many people who would appreciate it avoids it because they think that it's hentai. Which it really isn't, I've seen more graphic sex in Scandinavian newspaper comics (true!). Knowing that at least two other people on the planet have read it makes my day.

If Hisao's death was going to bother him that much he shouldn't have thrown him off the roof.

As Misha #36856, I think any fan of KS would also enjoy My Lovely Ghost Kana. It even has a similar "I-can't-believe-such-a-depressing-sounding-premise-is-so-happy" vibe.

Thanks to this image I went and read all 3 volumes of that manga. I'm glad I did.

If you like your cute romance and feel-good "life is awesome" messages mixed with some feels and some surprisingly dark undertones, you won't regret it. In fact, if you liked KS it would surprise me if you wouldn't enjoy MLGK.

If you wanna cry a bit more, this Misha thinks you might also like Ai-Ren (by the same author as MLGK). Or buy stock in Kleenex and go watch Saikano.
