For those who still don't get the reference... It's a pun off of Fate/Stay Night's second route, Unlimited Blade Works. The route that, by many, is proclaimed to be the best route in the game(They recently even made a movie based on said route).
The original version from Archer in F/SN while activating his Unlimited Blade Works Reality Marble (kinda like a parallel dimension space/time bubble) being:
I am the bone of my sword
Steel is my body, Fire is my blood
I have created over a thousand blades
Unknown to life, nor known to death
Have withstood pain to create many weapons
Yet those hands will never hold anything
So as I pray, Unlimited Blade Works!
@30740: Who are these "many" who proclaim endless paragraphs of internal monologue describing how someone's ass is getting kicked the "best?"
Goddamn snorefest that goes nowhere even more than the rest of a game that goes nowhere. It also accounts for 98% of the world's misuse of the word "hypocrite."
Meh, F/SN is kind of overrated in my opinion. Almost as much fluff in the dialog as a Stephen King book. It could have easily been reduced to 20-30 hours instead of the average 40-50 it took to run through every route.
And the unlockable scene you obtain from getting every bad end was a total let down.
@30761: As much as I love F/SN, I'd after to agree with you about the fluff. Between all the odd dialogue, huge chunks of exposition, and repetition, it's got almost no replayability.
It's worth sitting through at least once, though, and I'd say the Unlimited Blade Works movie would probably be very hard to follow if you didn't know the story beforehand. They cut a lot of the slower scenes, and it certainly feels like it. Wish they'd gone for a mutli-episode OVA series rather than a single movie.
@30763: UBW is obviously meant to be watched after the anime series, so you already know the basic storyline. I think it works better that way, so you don't shave to rewatch the exposition.
