Clever how you put extra armor on Rin's arm-stumps. On the fighting-game thread in the forum, one of the biggest problems with Rin as a character was her inability to actually block attacks. You seem to have solved this problem. I'm surprised nobody has thought of it before...

Heh. My solution would have been that she blocks you with her insane troll logic. Basically she starts talking about how she can only think about four things at a time, and right now none of them is getting hit by you.

Personally I'd have her block with her leg. Sure that'd throw you off balance but since when do fighting games left reality get in the way of win.

I get more Fire Emblem vibes than Soul Calibur, but I can see where you're coming from. I also love how fitting each of the weapons are for the characters, too.

Lilly would be a staff chick. Misha definitely would be a heavy lancer sorts. It's not surprising that Hanako would be all covered to protect herself. Shizune being a fencer represents the finesse of using the weapon, and Emi's a freaking speedy little thief (reminds me of Sothe or Matthew).

Oh, and Hisao's just some average traveler with a walking stick. I'm not exactly sure what Rin's supposed to be.

I'm more surprised to see that A22's skillz have improved over the uploads. Way to go! Some day you'll be able to do grossening humanoid mostruosities like Kon! Yaay!

Needless to say, Hisao and Shizune would argue a lot.(no pun intended in either circumstance..)

I'd have to say the party is
Lily = Support/Healing Mage (If she was offensive she'd hurt the team more than her enemies)
Misha = Beserker Halberdier (Low Armor, High Attack, no sense of self control when killing things with it)
Rin = Monk (With Greaves instead of Claws, hehe, Tales of Symphonia Regal)
Hanako = Paladin/Support (Including, unlike Zidane's[FF9] Protect Girls ability, she has the Protect Men ability, or atleas Protect Hisao)
Hisao = Traveler (Your typical Hero of the Story who starts as the Jack of All Trades character)
Shizune = Fencer/Tactician (Like Soren of Fire Emblem, except she uses swords instead breaking wind. If Hisao ends up making her cry on his semi-manly chest, I'm sure many would take it as fanservice instead of getting annoyed/mad)
Emi - Thief (That time she headbutted you in the hall, she was after your wallet, that's also how she attacks/steals/does any other thief thing.
